  • Contest: If you or your students submit photos, videos, or projects, you’re confirming you have permission (especially for minors). Entries may be shared on Cantarama’s website, social media, or promotional materials, but never sold.

  • Privacy: We won’t sell your info. We may contact you with updates and news about Cantarama.

  • Payments: Membership fees cover access to resources and contests. Fees are non-refundable.

  • Responsibility: Teachers are responsible for following their school’s rules when participating.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Cantarama website, purchasing a membership, or participating in contests, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Cantarama may update these Terms at any time, and continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Intellectual Property & Resource Use

All materials provided on Cantarama, including lesson plans, activities, images, videos, and other resources, are the property of Cantarama unless otherwise stated (with the exception of the the shared google drive which is a free resource but still should not be copied and sold). These resources are licensed to you for personal classroom use only.

  • You may download, print, and adapt resources for your own teaching.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, or upload resources to public sites or marketplaces without prior written consent.

  • Violation of this section may result in termination of your membership.

3. Contest Participation (Photos, Videos, Student Work)

From time to time, Cantarama may host contests involving student submissions such as videos, photos, or projects.

  • By submitting, you confirm that you have obtained all necessary permissions, including parental/guardian consent for minors, before sharing student work.

  • By submitting, you grant Cantarama a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and promote your entry on the Site, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.

  • Entries will not be sold or used for commercial purposes beyond contest and program promotion.

  • Cantarama is not responsible for any unauthorized use of entries by third parties.

4. Privacy & Data Protection

Cantarama respects your privacy.

  • We will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

  • We may collect basic information such as your name, email, and school for the purposes of membership management, communications, and contest participation.

  • Any student information submitted is the responsibility of the teacher, who must ensure compliance with applicable school or district policies.

5. Payments & Refunds

  • Membership fees are clearly stated at checkout.

  • Unless otherwise specified, fees are non-refundable.

  • If memberships are set to auto-renew, you may cancel before the renewal date to avoid future charges.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

Cantarama provides resources and contests “as is” without warranties of any kind.

  • We are not responsible for errors, omissions, technical issues, or outcomes of classroom use.

  • Teachers are responsible for ensuring compliance with their school or district’s policies before using Cantarama resources or entering contests.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Oregon. Any disputes shall be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
